  I agree with udon's practice of letting the 'guest' sit in the front seat.

  If you make the 'guest' sit behind, you're creating a distance between the driver and the guest and it's even worse if the two people in front start a conversation among themselves.

  How should I put it leh, if I were the passenger, I would feel rather embarrassed, as though the driver is unwillingly sending me home and seeing me as some inconvenience, like some parcel to be unfeelingly delivered to its destination.

  No matter whether it is the manager, the chairman or just the janitor.
