I think the real gangster normally like to stay low profile. They are really interested in just making money but through not really legal means. Those wannabes just create trouble for nothing at all.

Gangsters in Singapore? No kidding. I do not think there are gangsters in Singapore because Singapore's law and order is well.. too tight? Too "FINE".. I think what your trying to say are hooligans? Delinquents? If your meaning that then almost all of us go through that stage in Singapore. I stare, you Stare i ask you go behind talk then we exhange a few blows and think we are singapore young heroes. You lose and you call your "hia di" come down to "pia zhui" with me. =..= Typing it out makes it totally retarded. Gangsters? Don't make me laugh. Call the police and they run like cockroaches.
I think what we have are Singaporean Teenagers who do not know or have a sense of belonging thus they seek out cliques and groups to maintain their sense of belonging.
They get no where when they continue down the road. Believe it i use to be one of those XDD who go after those XMM and then make people call me tao eh kind. But at the end whats the use? Gain nothing. Lose almost everything. Not worth it.
