You will also run down other businesses like food and medical centres, causing more people to lose jobs, increase poverty, increase your business costs and ultimately it can result in another period where food is scarce as the only retailer of food is from someone who provides free rations but have nearly more than half the population waiting in line. This will in turn lead to a catastropic disaster that can kill off much of the population as they fight for basic survival supplies like medicine and food, with land being used up for subsistance agriculture growth.
