Our new water is so clean that it has to be pumped back to the reservoir before delivery to the households.
If you don't come up with some answers to the questions raised here, about the costs of transportation, delivery mode....you will just prove what my boss used to say about the kiwis, "they have to swim a long way to see the world."

Singapore uses the MIRACLE filters. All impurities will be filtered out.
Unfortunately, we tend to fail our chemistry classes at school.. So yeah... we believe the recycled water is clean.
Although I've posted before that the only way to get impurities free water is through distillation. But I got shoot down by many for being unpatriotic.
So yeah..... best just let the people believe what they wanna believe ya ?

That's not the Kiwi way .............................................................
We even had an airline called Freedom - it was free to cut the fat out of the airline industry.Today all plane seats are much cheaper and Freedom Air has merged into one of the majors.
I say, let the market decide on what source of water they buy - recycled toilet water with contraceptive drugs "filtered " out ????, very pure natural bulk water from New Zealand, high carbon footprint bottles from many countries or Singapore high carbon desalinated sea water.

i read thru the thread and agreed with most that Transportation cost is an issue. i question the capital investment on transporting and transferring and rebottling. -

You can always try to sell your pristine water touting all the good stuff.. But as long as it's more expensive than the tap waters which are good for washing clothes and dishes.. there's really only the bottled potable water market for you.
We don't need human hormones free water for our plants or to wash the streets if it's gonna cost more.
Perhaps you can set up a BULK NZ water container with a tap attached in Orchard road and sell it as potable water.. instead of bottles, you use cups. Defeats the purpose ain't it ?
So unless you can figure out ways to make and transport your water cheaper than our tap water.. your pristine bulk water.. has no market in Singapore.

Chew - our water is slightly sweet - not sour.Record numbers of South East Asians have voted with their feet to come and live in New Zealand.It has made this small country far more diverse and a much more interesting place.They are very welcome..
I agree disposable cups and bottles are not in the best interests of the enviroment to consume any beverage.
What is the cost of SG tap water ?
