yes, maybe it's just confidence. i also may seem shy to strangers or ppl whom i just get to know. seeing alot of my friends getting married one by one makes me wonder, "when will it be my turn"..

well, u r lucky to b sharing the train with her, same time at the same carriage....
take a long time for that to work. Beside, if u keep meeting the same people over and over again, wont it seem rude for not making an effort to know one another?
haha, true true...

hey brother, you will be fine as long as you exalt a little confidence. girls like men, not boys and the moment you lack it, it turns you to a little boy.
there is nothing to lose actually. i have my fair share of rejection too... actually success rate is 30% but hey! isn't that like sales, you can't be selling Toyota to everyone on the street but there is a 50% target audience that can only afford a Toyota or likes a Toyota and look where it brought them, the top of the motor industry.

i mean end of the day, we are all going to be dead... so a little rejection won't hurt much. you don't lose a hair if she rejects you in the face... maybe pride but she ain't worth it then...

approach is one thing... strategy is another... you must have a sound plan before you even approach... the right thing to say, the right thing to do and the right follow up after the initial "meeting"

Ya lor...
I remembered one approaching incident at a cinema...
I was on a half day leave and went to the nearby arcade to play.
When i was satisfied with playing, i went over to the cinema next to the arcade to browse for any shows to watch and i saw this counter staff.
She had tanned skin, average height, hair tied into two pony tails.
She looked cute and more so when she smiles....thump thump...
Heart beating a little faster, i went to her counter and asked for a drink. While she was doing so, i asked if she was a perm staff and it turned out she's a part timer and in her 3rd year of her poly studies.
I went on to say i was the senior batch of her course and is now working. She was a little surprised and we related how things had changed.
Throughout the conversation, she was attentive and likes to smile a lot.(thump thump)
We could have talked longer had it not been for the queue behind me...
I didn't ask for her contact number because i want to make her give it to me....
Somehow, i could have done better on the approach, though...
