Hmm... That reminds me of a money saving tip I heard a few years back. Someone said that you should keep all the coin change that you have at the end of the day in a coin bank. Let's say on average you have $1.50 . At the end of one year you would have saved $547.50! -

i used to have the urge to change the coins to notes (like many $1 or 50cents), then i see the notes, i will take it and spend it. damn.
No problem, dude!
If u spend the notes, you won't get to save any. But if you spend the notes while save the coins which you got from the changes, you are still saving!

My mom also gave me her collection of stamps. She said that she used to live near the CBD when she was very young, so she would go and rummage the old envelopes of the companies (I've no idea how, rummaging the garbage seems a bit extreme) and pick out the stamps, so I suppose her collection is pretty rich.
As for myself, I have a collection of mahagony seeds. I hope to be able to amass a collection of books large enough to fill one whole wall of bookshelves and more to come! I also like to keep mini versions of things when I come across them, such as a mini tube of Colgate and a very small glass bottle of Heinz ketchup I got from room service when I was staying at one of our hotels. :p

Check out www.spm.com.sg . It is the Singapore Philatelic Museum. They are having a stamp fair on 14 june. I'm going for sure! They said that you can have your stamps appraised for a small fee.

I'm quite ashamed to say this..but i collect Pi sai...
Its involuntary collection to be honest.
Only today then i know i have this "collection". I was kneeling down to charge my handphone as the 6 way plug is underneath my computer. Then after plugging my handphone into the charger I raised my head to see if i will bump into the underside of the table and TA DA!! there they were....some dried up slimy babies smiling at me
Anyway this is how I think I have accumulated them. I spend alot of time infront of my computer. Sometimes subconsciously i will poke my finger into my nose..and then wipe it on the underside of my computer table.....over the years they accumulated..and multiplied..and ..yea ...u end up with....
anyway out of curiousity...anyone here have the same collection as me on the underside of tehir table or not arr?

I kinda "inherited" coin albums from my grandpa...alot of heavy albums...plus a few coins placed in a safe deposit..have yet to see what coins they were..and i also collect school badges, army pins..

Wow you collect army pins. Those are nice. I saw some people selling army pins online. One guy was also selling an army certificate. o.0
