I see nothing wrong with xiaxue's post. She only refer to others whot dont care. She didnt refer to everyone.

Joshua, I am with you on this, and applaud your efforts. But you are only giving undeserved attention to that selfish creature. She is still young and immature, just as our society is as immature, being a considerable new state to fully comprehend the philosophy of freedom and its responsibilities to our society.
It will take time for maturity to set in, and all we can do is to help others in our society to mature, with patience, to take our rightful place in the halls of humanity, beginning with ourselves, then our families, relatives and friends.
That creature is not worth your bother, leave her alone to her ignorance and stupidity. There are more within our society whom are more matured, and I am glad you are one, a representative of our young whom the future belongs and with more people like you, Singapore will be in good hands to accept its rightful freedom and its attendant responsibilities.

Dear, by responding so vehmently to her post you have shown that you subconsciously agreed that she had spoken for you. I must say that I can't see anything wrong with her post- it's her usual self of course, a little brash and snide perhaps but she wasn't speaking for everyone. Or at the very least, I didn't consider her to be speaking on my behalf and hence her post certainly does not merit a counter argument. Do cheer up, I am sure plenty do care about the Iran issue so why does it matter to you or in fact, the world, that a Singaporean blogger doesn't?

Your circular argument is honestly hilarious. Everything is just the pap's fault isn't it? Maybe a country's government reflects it's citizens' mentality -

It is for this reason that I feel we should not and cannot condone inaction and apathy as innocent as Xiaxue has done. I consider this letter necessary in upholding freedom of expression, after all, what good is that freedom if we fail to practice it when it so requires?
I also did not appreciate her assumption that the world was hiding behind its own conceit and that our neighbors business has nothing to do with our own or that our interest and concern and moral outrage meant little in the 'grand scheme of things'. Moreover, as a 'celebrity' her views are widely circulated and in it in this light that I find a collective response necessary.
I am unable to respond to every reply in detail, but I appreciate all the comments.

Kudos to the TS for his mature reply to Xiaxue's blog on Iran. Xiaxue probably does not care for what is happening in Iran because it is yet to be a "celebrity cause" at the moment; and probably in Singapore, it will never be a "celebrity cause" because it is politically sensitive.
