Emptied a whole bottle of chicken rice paste into the rice cooker.
Rice came out saltier then the dead sea.
I even pack a mini rice cooker in my suit case......

and who know.. it goes dead the very 1st time i used it....
well, atleast i still can used the rice pot for cooking......
then i tried making porridge.....
which end up as burn rice....
still finish it in the end... coz too late to go any where in a place i jsut arrived.... sigh... those were the days...
is there a DHL or united Parcel around?
Thank goodness things are more accessible nowadays for the younger generation.
Just make sure they pack a flat bedsheet pillow case & some instant noodles into their suitcase, they should be able to deal with their first week overseas.
Then the rest is for them to search out electrical appliances, cooking utensils themselves.
But nothing beats bringing your own favourite chilli bottle in your luggage.
I am unfortunately of a generation where I must eat rice no matter where I am.
My younger brother can survive on bread, pizza overseas.
but the time of leaving, he will have cooking pots of various kind, bento box, sushi making apparatus, cookers, pans, bottles, electrical appliances etc etc...yo guys, excessive langauge is expensive ok...he is going to study, not opening shop ya

I once posted a ream of a4 paper, various stationaries including puncher, stapler, staplers, scotchtape dispenser, pens, pencils, erasers and so on in a box to my younger brother in UK.
The postage cost 3 times more then the items.
And that darn kid can still report back, that his housemates laughed and says Me is very cute. All the stationaries all colour co-ordinated!
Si ginas didn't know that the colours are the result of searching thru how many stationaries shops.
I didnt just want to buy cheapest and Pinkest colour stationary for my big baby brother!

in uk, they only have carboot sales....
that's where i get most of luxury stuff from, such as tv, video recorder, etc......
even bootleg stuffs...
And a friend that travels often to UK and Oz, buys macbooks from Singapore on behest of his friends residing there.
So TS might consider shopping for one in sg and bring to whatever country he is at and sell it if he nees urgent cash.
1 - commit a crime
