i once got knocked down by a bicycle before, and i can assure it does not feel good. my left ankle's nerves or veins were damaged (what the chinese physician told me) and i cant walk properly for a week. thats how serious it is.
anyway it was a foreign worker who did it to me. red light, green man, of cos i cross the pedestrian crossing. who knocks this bugger dashed out from behind a big lorry, hidden from my sight and knocked me down. typical of them to ignore the traffic lights i m sure many would agree. his reply was "sorry ah!" den weeee off he goes, while i was lying down in the middle of a busy road!!
i have to drag myself to the pavement beside the road. i cant imagine what would the consequences be if it was a small child and not me.
its always these foreign workers doing things like this. at least majority. i would say 98%? before their influx, do we see or hear about bicycles knocking people down so often? think about it.
so please everyone stand up and give a rousing appaluse to our favourite party which i shall not name. after all, they are the ones who brought these people in and endanger our lives remember? the next time you pay your taxes, remember where all the money goes to. definitely not for the goodwill of you and me.

seriously, though, such cases will always be caused by foreign workers because they're the ones who cycle to work (how many Singaporeans really cycle to work??!!!)
in their country like China and India (just look at the thousands of bikes in china), such cycling are very common and they have no manners. Now they are bringing their cycling culture to singapore.
