  I dont't know, bt i see this as something purely symbolic. Its like Valentine's Day, just bcase everyone buys Flowers,does that mean one has to follow suit?.( Don't mean to offen anyone who does)
  
  And if i don;t does it mean i love the person any less? The way i see it, better to be happy & loving 364 days together than to be unhappy 364 days & then only that one day u be happy & loving. I don;t see the point but to each its own. ;)
