I got one colleague always ask me question one. When he ask question, he muz lean on my table. Then I will minimise all my email screens to talk to him lor.
Today, I noticed that he not only lean forward but his eyes machiam like glued on my screen for about 1 sec.
I have confidential stuff to handle one leh.
I wonder if privacy filter can help. How much is one ah? where to buy?
other than privacy filter, you can seek permission to rotate your desk, chair and computer position to face out
put a wallpaper that says "neh neh ni boo boo!"
or a hunk foto
when he lean over, click on SHOW DESKTOP
No need to buy, just ask for a seating re-arrangement. ![]()
Just dim the brightness of your screen to 0. ![]()
I've nothing to hide, in fact I am so open, nobody gives a sh|t whats on my screen.![]()
Actually since it's a guy, make sure your wallpaper is full of hunky men wearing speedos only.
If he stares at it, just casually ask if he is into men.
After a while, he won't look too much at your computer screen anymore. ![]()

my workplace has a few...it only prevents people from looking at ur screen from sideways...if he looks directly at the screen...which is basically what U are doing....it wouldnt help.
Was told its hundred over bucks...not cheap...but its 3M...not sure if there are cheaper alternatives...but if U can really justify it...claim from company lor..
That was one time my friend is rather fed up that his faci always look at his msn... then I suggest him to display my chat screen and i keep saying bad thing about the faci... make him so pissed... ![]()

Press Windows + D to minimise everything at once.
Press and hold Windows Key + M, minimizes all open programs. Works the same as + D. ![]()

Use a picture of Ju-On or Sadako for your wallpaper. ![]()
Just put this topic on when he leans over again. If he reads it, he will get the hint.

Guarantee he won't be reading your computer screen again. ![]()

My company IT ppl backside very itchy one. Then block sgforums leh!
open one Excel spreadsheet that looks very complicated one, then open your web browser / MSN or whatever s*** you're doing.
then when colleague comes, press Alt + Tab on your keyboard using left thumb and the finger next to the left thumb (the Thumb press on Alt and the finger press on Tab).
0.5 second will instantly switch the web browser / MSN to your Excel spreadsheet.

Then u print screen this page, go office set as background loh.
Why don't you... just let the colleague know you don't like the interest he displays in your computer screen each time he goes to your desk?
e.g. "eh... you seem to be very interested in what I'm doing hor..."
aiya just alt-tab or show desktop lar :p
Pick one picture out of the tens here and use it as your wallpaper.
continue doing that forever...
you can't do stuffs like telling him not to look at your screen or stuffs.
don't spoil your relationship with your colleagues.
This is life..face it. If you feel that he/she has violated the rules of the game, report it to the relavant person in charge.
don't blame the player, blame the game
