For the past many years I always watch half the NDP. This time round I watched the entire show. Kudos to everyone behind NDP2009!
i got stoop up in front of the TV and say the pledge
and i watch the evening part.. the marching part are boring so every year watch the party part hehe

Was at a busy shopping mall having a meal, and watched many citizens not only reaffirmed our national pledge at 8.22pm, they even STOOD AT ATTENTION after that when the National Anthem was played by a roadshow event held on the foyer!!! ![]()

They certainly don't looked stupid to me and compelled me, a fellow citizen, followed alonged willingly, and with pride.
I was only saddened by a few others whom looked like citizens who brazenly ignored the goings on, but looked rather sheepishly and had averted eyes when they walked past...
