The pledge:
. . . . . . .. . to build a democratic society
...... .. . .. base on justice and equality
Is Singapore a democratic society?
Are there juctice and equality for all or only exclusively for some?
So you are not in favour of Singapore becoming a democratic society?
You are not in favour of justice and equality for all Singaporeans?
Situation in Singapore is far from ideal but you do not want to strive for a better country and instead choose to act snide in a forum.
PAP is just a political party that needs a thorough cleansing, while the pledge of Singapore is the pledge of all Singaporeans. If you don't like it, leave Singapore for good.
I think he meant... ppl who actually said the pledge do not do that...![]()
There was like 10 people in the train and no one even recited the pledge. They all just sat there and waited for the audio to stop saying the pledge.

I can just imagine people eating in a restaurant and suddenly at 8:22pm, everybody except you stood up and started reciting the pledge.
After the pledge, everybody sits down and continues eating.
So creepy. ![]()

They consulted fengshui masters on it?
