Playing Lego

I wonder if you have this experience of playing Lego as a child....
I used to play those kinds of building blocks toys....not really Lego...but some other brand...but they are really good and actually I liked them better than Lego...
I used to be really good at it....I built tall complex structures...very tall....like trophies.....
Then I would showcase them at the family display cabinet for some time....my pride...before I took them down and rebuilt new ones....
Of course there are other things which can be used with them...like fighting / role-playing, battlefield playing, etc, a lot of things....
Did you play Lego as a child....or what was your favourite toys..?

i did not play lego. i dun really have any toys though but i watch tv a lot

everyone would think i grew up playing with barbie dolls
but my childhood was filled with the little bricks and yellow-faced men
i had many sets of lego but only 1 barbie doll................. -
lego nowadays so expensive sia... anyway yea played with lego... built a space shuttle launch pad too.

They are fun to play with, arent they?
I did not have any other types of pieces, like man figures, or equipment, etc, just the building blocks. But they are very versatile, can build a lot of things from them, I built tanks, cars, motorcycles, gates, houses, forts, and they can also become humans in role-playing.

i still keep the road plates...
used them for playing my toy cars after my lego kit was sold to the karang guni man for probably less than 5 bucks.

I played with my own make toys.
My family was very poor back then.
In the past, even having Mac was like once in a blue moon for me.
My mom will bring me and my sis there just to have McChicken without the set meal.
Furthermore, need to cut the burger into half and share....

yeah i remember building houses and a hell lots of vehicles- from jeeps to race car and even those songka lorry that carry dead people

=( Must be hard on u on those times. Well at least now your life is ok ^^. Oh ya, back to the topic i like playing with legos too xD. When i was little of course.

i played with lego, and Lassy (forgotten how it is spelled)...but nvr big big legos :(..
since i m working now, m interested in buying "Death star" lego star wars :D -
