i hve foreigner told me Singapore lose out to our neighbouring countries where tourism is concerned. The neighbouring countries offer low costs and more to see where sightseeing is concerned. He wonders why is our ruling party making Singapore such an expensive city when Singapore has to compete with our neighbouring countries which offer low cost and more sightseeing for tourism.
If foreigners ask me for my recommendation between making a trip here or other neighbouring countries, I would recommend them to go to the neighbouring countries.

when i got friends overseas asking if there is anything to do in SG
i always say "visit me and go eat"
otherwise there is nothing here... to me. its not like they (the vistors) come from a less entertaining country.
