  The roads were realigned and Dhoby Ghaut was obliterated, left only the MRT station name. Prefer they leave the National Library building there than the tunnel to ERP.

  Same here.  I was so sad when I heard news they were removing the National Library.   Rumour has it that LKY got the library removed due the fengshui reason

  well, the thunderstrike never into keeping buildings and so on for ..........

  Next to go along that area will  be the Capitol Building.  This I will be sad.    kind of nostalgic there.

  The famous "ghost cinema" was Metropole at Tanjong Pagar. Now a church!

  Mine was Ciros,Golden City,Capitol and Cathay....never tried Metropole becuase none of my GFs were Ah Huay> Didnt get the chance to date Ris Low's mother.....otherwise I would have a famous daughter oreddy.
