yes it does. if u were to be able to teleport a few million light years away and have a strong enough telescope, you could see earth a few million years ago, hence if u teleport instaneuosly back and forth then u have time travelled

I believe a tachyon is a particle travelling faster than the speed of light in a medium. It is only a transient phenomenon and it slows down by radiating away the excess energy in Cherenkov Radiation. When light goes from vacuum to another medium such as air, it slows down and during that trnsient period it radiates away the energy in chenrenkov Radiation.
