I'm thinking for those who graduated from universities, are grads smarter than non grads...say you make it to harvard or MIT, is your life worth more than those who can't make it to college>?
Higher IQ equals higher value of life in society?
If you're a phd holder, does it give you the right to talk down to people who are high school dropouts?I've higher credentials, screw you ignorant ones!!Waht happened to humility of scholars?
Does a degree necessarily mean a higher IQ? Conversely, does a high-IQ person necessarily have a degree?
Maybe you want to get your head around the concept before getting into this.
I sense a lot of pent up frustration and angst in the TS, given the kinds of threads he starts. ![]()
Really? All I see is a wankfest.

They think they are the smartest.
The behave as if they are the smartest.
I have met PhDs and 1st class honours monkeys who cannot solve simple problems.
Educational level is no measure of intelligence, but sweeping generalisations are damning proof of terminal stupidity.
In singapore 7 out of 10 bosses never graduate, some only O level like me

Graduating from university, and especially graduating from a top university, is an indicator of personal qualities and intellect.
Why is that?
It's because to qualify, attend, and graduate/ complete your course, you need to have self-discipline, time management, ability to work in teams, ability to sacrifice short term gain for long term benefit, and so on.
And please notice I mentioned "soft skills" which can be transferred to general area of your life.
And of course, to complete technical courses, at least you must have some semblance of intelligence to absorb, understand, the materials, and conceptualize ideas, and formulate your thoughts coherently.
These are also general skills which can be transferred to your life.
So to say university graduates is likely to be intelligent, is not too far fetched.
Another benefit is that they can make friends and network with people who are likely to occupy mid and high level positions in society.
Of course, bosses / entrepreneurs dont need a degree to be successful in their business. They have a different skill set.
Their skill set is mainly internal motivation and drive, a hunger to succeed, preservation, willing to learn, willing to try new thing, having a vision.
It's true that.
these days EQ overrides IQ

Wrong. These PhDs and 1st class honours monkeys equate education level with smartness, behave as if they are the smartest, talk as if they are the smartest, their idea is the greatest, etc... So smart but how come cannot solve simple problems?
So how many of these "PhDs and 1st class Honours monkeys" have you actually met? I'll be generous - count the ones who you've just spoken to and not necessarily the ones who you can say you actually know.
