Quality of shoes getting lousier

  I always go to city hall's bata shop on second floor to buy rockport business shoes.  there are black, brown and crimson colours. in june they sell for 99 at GSS, at normal times they sell for 139 I think. can last for 2-3 years.

  I agree with TS.

  I brought my shoes for changing of soles.   The man, cobbler, told me he has been dealing with shoes making of cardboard as the base.    This explained why shoes are not lasting nowadays.   He advised me against buying shoes from Charles and Keith and BATA, saying that they are the culprits using cardboards for shoes.

  Sometime, it is your feet that is the problem, i wear flip flop $2 slipper for a year also no problem.

  it is actually possible to make a pair of shoes to last a lifetime. but if shoemakers make a shoe like that, how to make money? obvious best way is to keep making them come back for more what.

  Agree with topic...bought a 7.90 sandals...within 2 weeks, "open mouth" dee...then bought $12.90, within 1 month same thing happened....then bought 20.90, 2 months...crap...hahaa
