I heard of some man even though he was a 1st class hons from a top overseas uni being rejected by civil service. It was in the news recently
its stupid really. O levels are nothing to other countries, but in singapore it is a big fark.

AN UNEMPOYED man left Japanese Anime cartoons on his computer for his younger sister before he took his own life, a coroner's court heard on Monday.
Angus Chong Jun-Jie, 28, also sent a short message service to his sister, Ms Calista Chong Yixian, 27, to thank her for everything shortly before he leapt from his 14th-floor bedroom window in Jurong West Street 65 on Feb 20.
At an inquiry into his death, the court heard that Chong, described as an introvert, and his sister left for Perth in 2002 for further studies.
He was said to have enrolled at Curtin University for a double degree in computer science and computer engineering. Two years later, he oped out of computer engineering and continued with his computer science course.
About six months before the incident, he had invited his family to Perth to attend his graduation. On the day he died, police tracked down his flat and found suitcases near the door. According to his aunt, who lived with him, the family was leaving for Perth to attend his graduation ceremony.
But an investigation officer of the case said in his report it was unknown if Chong had completed his studies or whether he was ever a student at Curtin University.

haha missqi, in sg its the same.. got freedom n $. In sg im in my comfort zone cos i got my home, pple to cook for me, wash my clothe etc. I guess going overseas would be good as i'll get more exposure. sg is really boring..
i've received my offer letter already so i'll decide in 1 or 2 weeks time.

everyone knows that!!ya just buying your degree from a dangerous place.but i bet its more better than new zealand anyday.however your chances of getting a job is so so only if u goto oz n study.oz is not known for business!!!its the americans thAT u should go learn from.
well.....american breasts are much further away from aussie breasts!!!so if u think oz is nearer to your house in spore then go for it .
actually business degree is good in a way because the china and others dont have a good command in english werkin environment so its a good choice even though its an aussie university.all u need to worry about when u come back to spore is to fight against the overseas indians with MBAs in spore for jobs.

lol hitman. im not going there to study teenage breasts.
im not saying america is too far. no matter how far it is, its just an air ticket away. since i've got my mind set in studying in aus i shall settle on it.. im too lazy to do any research anymore. morever i've got some friends there already.
i do not need to worry about those overseas indian cos i'll make sure i'll kick their ass and make them go sell prata in geylang. if needed i will further my studies for a masters but that will be too far to think about.
