cannot drive car, aeroplane, train etc. humans go back to stone age?
many now dun oni run on oil wat

Got hybrid technology.
prolly in 50+ years? hopefully more.
So i can get a 6.2L Hummer H1 and drive around with it like mad.
Wooohoo.
but i hear it takes a shit ton of energy to make those hybrid/solar thingies. haha.
50 years? do u believe in rebirth?
you come back to this earth again in your next life lol. that future era is no oil era.
still have coal, steam, gas, hydrogen, nuke, wind, water, solar, batteries. Just to name a few energy sources. Most important of all is the ability to find improvements in it to scale such sources output to mass practical levels, sustainable for a cleaner green environment and the economic willpower to retool infrastructures to accomodate such sources.

aaa.. not really.(sorry if it offends you)
but.....damn.. no oil? hahaha. I heard the Germans modified a Volvo such that it can run on vegetable oil
lololol
hopefully countries will roll that out.

yep. thats very true.
But usually when govts introduce new "green" changes, the people always debate about job losses/creations, and since its gonna be expensive---more taxes in the following years ![]()
damn why cant they invent cars using electricity or battery lol

they've reviewed them. These electricity/battery powered cars can run for 20 mins, then take 12 hours to recharge. lololol. impractical.![]()

Cars that run on electricity and batteries have already been available lor.
Think oil will not run out for another century.
Many untapped sources now not economical and technology able will be available later.

Why still persist on early 19th century devices for transportation?
Time to move beyond the wheel and combustion/battery engines of the past by building upon science and technologies we had spent years studying for. That's what education is all about - improving upon the past.![]()
A huge market's need awaits.

like playing game... As u advance with the campaign, more and more technology will be available... ![]()

why cant they prolong the electricity/battery powered car and run for like 24 hours and then recharging that takes 1-2 hours only lol.
It's not that simple. You want longer life, you need a bigger cell. If you have a bigger cell, you add more weight to the car, slowing it down. Since it is slowed down, energy consumption is adversely affected. This will prove detrimental to the cell efficency.
Think of this analogy. Why can't people just eat alot of food in 1 hour then survive for a month?
dun worry, people still have to farts and shit, we can run on those gases.
If oil runs out one day, half of the world's population will die. ![]()
Current methods of food production and transportation relies heavily on oil. No oil means no farming machinery, food production will drop; means no trucks and ships to transport those food produce to countries like Singapore.
Scarcity of resources will also result in wars, as people fight for these resources for survival.

Urbanisation would come to a halt and human would revert to farming to substain a living.
Then we will have a decrease in high cholestrol, diabetes and other lifestyle health issues :D
I wonder which will give out first: the oil or the ozone layer?
If really oil runs out, either cities nor the countryside will be spared from disorder, hope there will be cooperation but given the competitive nature of man, I';m keeping my fingers crossed
The problem is not going to be running out of oil, i don't think we would ever be running dry on oil in any sense of the word.
The key point is when would oil production be unable to keep up with oil demand in any reasonable economical sense.
The city state of Singapore runs only with the assumption that a sufficient amount of oil/NG (And in the future: coal) comes in through the port and terminals on time every day.
We can continue to build fancy new things like the IR(increased consumption) only because we could afford to buy enough production of oil/NG to support it and there is enough excess production to purchase.
We can argue as much as we can about alternative energy but oil isn't just about energy, oil is also a neccessary raw material to build plastic and an assortment of chemicals for us to use. NG is also used to make fertilizers and is one of the main reason that the world could support its unprecedent population.
Oil is also considerably more energy dense and easy to transport as compared to NG and coal since it is in a liquid form. Liquified NG has to be frozen (for lack of a better word) in order to be in a liquid form for transport, that means you already have to invest an amount of energy to convert it to a transportable form in addition to pumping out from the ground.
While we may be able to survive without oil, we probably are not going to be able to enjoy as much we do currently.
Natural Gas is also a fossil fuel, a non renewable source of energy just like crude oil. ![]()
