Then can go Bugis Street and flag down one of those rickshaws and say

Read national geographic september 2009 edition. If technology allows, the solar energy from the sun in one day? is enough to power the WHOLE EARTH for many many times. Dont worry, technology will be more advanced.

Didn't u read the part after it???
Our solar panel at most can convert 20% of the energy only... Increase the conversion rate and the operation cost will sky rocket...
I'm sure u dun wan all prices like food, power bills, water etc, raised like 300%-400% right~ -_____-
Solar cells is useless as compare to wind turbine in term of operation cost and output. Ratio comparison is about 200:1
And worst of all, the energy and pollution created for producing solar cells far outweight its benefits.
I not pro solar cell technology. Furthermore thin film technology is ineffiecient in many ways. Current conversion rate is about 6-7%; higher efficiency solar cells is way too expensive.
Simple solar water heater is a much better idea.

well build a Huge giant
Wheel.. and put millions of hamsters
inside. and they will keep running non stop

no one said anything abt eating hamsters
stop ur drooling chewy...
Btw, why no one mention abt the project japan is embarking on? They are really going to build a gigantic solar panal in space and transfer to earth via waves... I hope the wave dun miss and slice japan into half though
Then again, i think the japanese had too much of an anime (REF: Gundam OO) ![]()
Aiyah, putting anything in space need more than energy than it can produce.
Too inefficient. Another deception by the oil companies.

Well the japs held a poll, seems like their country citizen are more worried about their living place... Apparently the news put it in a way that says they dun scare weather china or korea get sliced up, just not japan itself ![]()
America is too far away... If they miss and slice america, then I guess their intention very clear ah... lolx... Ion beam during independance day anyone??? ![]()
Sound like a clean and green weapon from Japan.

then i suppose the russians will do the same thing
only they will launch and deploy hundreds of solar power sateillates to beam energy down
If oil runs out without any feasible alternative, the world will slow down. Weekends will be 4 days long and working days will probably be from 10am-3pm with a 2 hour lunch break.
