It seems that many job fairs are held last year and will continue well this year but why so few sporean applicants for service jobs?
Reason is cause service jobs are held with low status , in the west people respect you even if you worked as a cleaner but not here in asia especially singapore. So being unemployed like the guys who work in a F&B outlet after leaving a professional IT job, people look down on you sigh...
Tell me if you have a family or planning to have a family, will you be willing to go for a job that pays low. Low pay not able to help cover expenses and housing loan.
Tell me a job with the govt which take home pay is $800, is this amount enough to support a family?
Hope people will not post topic for the sake of getting attention and be superficial about the needs of others.
