Could be Bukit Belanga.

was renamed Mt Faber in 1845 but the old name for Telok Blangah Hill is indeed Bukit Jagoh. There was a Malay settlement next to the old Ciros Theater and it was called Kampong Jagoh. The people who lived there were relocated to Telok Blangah Drive /Heights in 1978-1980

ok.
actually I am also confused>LOL
The Whole hill (Telok Blangah hill or Tulloh Blanga as of 1844) is actually a ridge consisting of 7 points stretching from Kampong Bahru to Alexandra...like Bukit Purmei,Tanjong Berlayar,Mt Washington (which is also known as Bukit Jagoh not so long ago) but far back in ancient times the ridge was prolly known as Bukit Jagoh.Ok I rest my case your honor>hahaha

Telok Belanga is the where Chermin Wharf used to be.
Bukit Jagoh was at the western end and the earlier name for Mt Faber side was Bukit Belanga, which William Farquhar called it Mast Hill for awhile when he rediscovered the deep water anchorage at Telok Belanga.

where is that? and by the way is Hoy Fatt Road still there?
some of our street names often origin from famous ppl who contributed to singapore back then...
what are the chances of us renaming all our streets to LKY street 1, 2, 3... LKY ave 1, 2, 3
since supposedly the "immortal" contributed to our growth and prosperity?
