  One of the good reasons of National Service is for Singapore men  to stop using the bolster from the day of enlistment

  Even pillow can be use in place of bolster, so that reason is bullsh*t unless SAF don't supply pillows.

  Mr Roy Fang maybe in your unuit you allowed to sleep with your pikachu bolster or cuddle up with your Super-Sized Doraimon soft toy but as far as I know in a combat unit a soldier is given one mattress,one blanket and only one pillow to cry on.

  Obvious someone failed to understand English...btw I am also given one mattress, one blanket and one pillow when serving NS.

  Yah I can tell you an incident that happened during army days.After I tekan my platoon teruk teruk past one midnight I went to one of the bunks to check on the men.There I saw this angry soldier punching and kicking his pilow all over the room and he was shouting all the Hokkien lovely vocabulary...... by now his bunkmates were terrified as I was standing less than a meter behind this guy but I calmly said, 'Why you starting to fall in love with me izzit?' and suddenly the whole room burst out into laughter.

  i use 1. dont have pillow also can. no pillow then a bit hard to sleep le. unless got someone to hug.

  why for? i also not sick or what
