i think you'll getting off track..i didn't say anything about wanting to proof myself in this thread..i'm just started this thread as a discussion and nothing more..
not to defend myself or whatever i think..it's purely discussion meant to facilitate around the idea and what people know of the rat race rather than putting the lime light on me and my views which is what I see right now..from the misunderstood intentions of some people..
so there's no need for me to proof to anyone..
it is just a discussion for different views etc..i quote and reply with the intention of just faciliating the discussion and and encouraging other users to share their views via asking questions..its as simple as that..
and there i'm being challenged.."the Bear" and "eagle" are there reading much deeper than what it actually is which was fine on the 1st and early half of the 2nd page of this thread post..targeting the rat race and how to get out of it when I was just casually disussing on the rat race..
so who exactly is stucked?
when it was starting out fine as a general disucssion took a turn into people attacking me or my comments and misunderstood the purpose of this thread post..following a spark/ignition from the post of "the Bear" and "eagle"

Like i said previously..I'm working for nobody except myself..so I'm technically not working for money..but rather for my freedom of choice..when to work, how i want to earn and make a living for myself from home.. "in case you didn't really read through what i've replied earlier"
having said that..i'm not being idealistic, i'm just stating a fact about myself..and you are in no position to pin-point and pick on my replies when you admit it yourself u are in the rat race..not me..i'm not working..
it is the issue of you wanting me to admit the false information that i'm a rat when i'm not running in a maze for cheese unlike you..so that's the cause of the problem..wanting me to admit things which i am not doing..forcing things onto other people against their will - a commonproblem of work polictics..shifting the blame/fault/problem to others
i appreciate your kind gestle of wanting me to look at what you three are intending to help me understand but apparently we are not on the same frequency nor on the same understanding...
it is a healthy discussion which is just purely sharing a discussion on the rat page in the earlier 1st and 2nd page until you guys get specific to the details of the rat and not the rat race..
Plus you don't need to repeat phrases/quotes which other users even ask what does that means..which i have explained in a layman terms..don't be like the frog in the well thinking that the sky is only as big as from opening of the well from the frog's point of view.
If you want to be understood, simplify things, and not get complex about about it.

Basically, I do not need to work for my 3 meals anymore. I want to work because there are many pple who needs my help. You can guess my age if you wish. I'm only in the work force for 2 yrs.

Eagle and hawks are all the same, they like to personal attack people, they seems to have a sickness to want people to look and behave like them and nothing else. Got no respect for others idealogies and way of living or working. To them, they are always good and the rest is rubbish, very introvert behavior. -

this behavior is pretty common in such forums filled with gossips..
the strong bully the weak..but runs away in face of strong opponents..lol..
i have my fair share of exprience with nasty behaviors in the past when i was still in the rat race previously..

Whether a not it is a rat's race depends on you. If you see it as one, then you will be in. Know your goals, know your destination, know your targets, and work towards it.
Financial freedom is what you meant I guess. It is a mindset. If my expenditure is capped at 500 a month, I can consider myself as having achieved it as my monthly passive income is approximately 650. But if my expenditure is $2000 a month, then I haven't reach it yet. It is something subjective.

Even in working, learn to work smart and not so hard. Money is important, but second to health, without a good health, whatever you struggled and make during your young times, you got no life to spent it, and you may wonder, why i wasted so much of my life seek Money.

Hmm, balanced lifestyle is good, but it would be best if there's more enjoyment than work la..
Home base young moms who sell stuffs on blogs are good examples..don't need to report to work, yet can spend time with their children and family..self-employed etc..so more time for family and fun etc.

Our views clearly is on completely different frequency..much the less about understanding..
Who's right, who's wrong, is not for us to say/decide for ourselves..but for other fellow users to judge and they themselves will have the answer..
with regards to my english..do note that this is a forum, not a examination, i don't really need to type in perfect english etc..i just need to type/write in a forum standard which the forum understands..
if you think this is bad..ask the long regular forum users of sgforums..back in the early days of this forum..the english is much worse..simply put it..there's no english..only +1, NPNT, picture with texts inside etc..in case you don't know the chances of this forum..considering your period of stay in this forum.
if you want to twist your words here and there, by all means, please go ahead..i'm not going to play with you..since it is my practise to only clarify and offer quality replies and postings as compared to gossips and useless posts which most users are contributing..
