Is Ok one a blue moon flash flood as compare to our neighbours. At least PUB take prompt action unlike our nieghbours same place always flood whenever heavy rain for decades........ this is call regluar flood and all get used to it.

why you work for PUB?
did you saw the picture of the size of the drain and the depth of the flood?
Its one aspect to says that small secondary drain got clogged....its another to say the main artery of drain got clog by leaves....there is such a thing call overflow to the main artery....
Please use your imagination and not just read......Walk to the underground Drain Take a measurement of the drain...Do some maths on rate of flow vs capacity of Water it can hold....
remember the flood was between 1 to 2 ft depth respectively in various part.

They didn't specifically state leaves or tree branches whatsoever, they only used a general term "debris".
Debris could include almost anything, cars, trucks, furniture, blah blah blah. -

The media took a picture of a empty drain.....
PUB folks should have been smarter by saying they found Beaver living under orchard road....They built this dam from fallen leaves....ha ha ha.....
