as like any other cities, it's always how e rainwater are cleared. -
It is strange that there are so many off guard and lapse happening for the past two months.
Is audit and check not done every year ?
Do we have to wait for something to happen, then we fix the issue ?
At the same time, no photo is shown on the clogged drain.
Where is the proof ?
Consistently, when the event happened, the millionsters in charge is always hiding and not standing forward to take responsible and carry out the punishment.
Why do we pay them so much in the first place ?
Since they have admitted that the clogged drain is the cause, then the affected stores can claim their damages against the guilty party or prepare to face law suits.

One water agreement with Malaysia will be ending next year.
We have showed them the Orchard Road also has lotsa water.
Singapore only need to store them better, and bottle them.

orchard road has no natural vegetation/fauna to soak in the water, that explains why the flood.
