maybe they don't have enough man power...cut cost...but quality of services also important right..
Not starhub, others too.
Customers have to entertain machine voice...for at least 5 min.....go round and round before if you got luck, will get through.
Normally after sale services are sucks in most of the companies.
the CS is outsourced anyway.
and i wonder if they bother to train properly bcos they give diff answers to the same qns.
and the turnover rate is so high
when u inform them u previously talked to so-and-so, they will give excuses to say tt tt person not available at the moment or not on shift... so u have to repeat the story all over...
and when u call to follow-up, it's someone else again and u can't find the previous ones u spoke to and then the grandmother story repeats.........
and when u try to speak to someone of higher authority, the CS will say tt person is busy attending to other customers (just shows tt they have many many complaints) and have to wait......
and u can wait till the next millennium and still wun get any response.
BUT!
all these are logged.
so u shd perservere and demand some compensation, citing all these as evidence and reminding them tt u are damn disappointed in their service. (but dun threaten)
quite fun.
i dun mind playing around with them. bcos i will get wat i want eventually. or even more.
i think all of you should try to go have a feel of how is it like handling people with ridiculous demand or those tot they are very educated and smart.
basically what happen is that when u call in to the wrong dept you wont get an immediate answer as if they give the wrong info how? u all ask for more compensation.
another thing is smart alec cust always tot they are super aware of everything including the telco system demand for something which is impossible to be rectified immediately.
lastly. all people will just point at the bad svc i can assure u 9 out of 10 cust who receive bad service will threaten to complain to forums or CASE but only 1 out of 99 that receive good service do write in.
get a life ppl..
worst kind of ppl is they know they are at fault but try to wriggle it through and in the end got nothing.. ROFL
Sharing my woes with StarHub; last 6 months wireless internet broadband is not working - frequent disconnection. so many compliants and no action and I gave up after losing patience with their repeated ordeals of remote support check list for wireless connection.
Second, in the last one month, everytime I ring-up their customer service, the long wait times of the telephone, sometime stretching to 1:30 hrs and 2 hrs to get to speak to a CSO.
Thirdly, i walked into StarHub customer service centre in OUB and waited in queue for 35 min before being attended by someone and then the person suddendly drops me and decides to attend to another customer!
I have decided such lousy service should be taught a lesson and switiching to M1 asap.
I used to rec calls from bank asking me to take up credit lines.
They called and never listen to m, just talk and talk, talk very fast.
And yes, they are foreigners, pinoy.

singtel good. i think u gt to depend on ur luk. my fren called singnet and tell them his internet problem. cos everytime he surf net he will lag and had problem surfing the net if there are 2 person sharing the net at the same time. but if only him alone he wont have this problem. next day.singtel ppl came down and check this and that and told him that ur modem and ur that phone socket spoilt , we had to change a new modem and socket for u. 30 minutes of waiting........ finally everything is ok. new modem new phone socket. everything for free. i am a singtel supporter

i agree with u. my this fren also do that when he trying to exchange his iphone with singtel.he signed up the line and he found that his iphone battery cant even last for 7 hour even if he was not playing any game.so he went bak and change for first time.they change for him,second time they still change,third time the customer service at the counter check the record and refuse to change.my fren argue that, wat is ur customer services for>?u suppose to help us and not argueing with me. nvm i think u just follow the rule doesn't have the power to do anything.ask ur manger come out....manger came out and argue argue, final round ( guess who is the winner?) my fren haha. his mouth very good, talk talk talk till the manger change for him. btw he change his iphone 3 times in a month.
When I still living in Singapore, I had a problem with my internet since I was with Starhub. I totally agree with you that the customer service absolutely sucks. Well Starhub plans are cheap, what can you really say.

Their on line technician is good, calm and make sure your internet is up and running. Their technician is btw mostly from india.

cheap means sucky service.
u pay less money, u get less attention.
those ppl working in there who get paid peanuts, they give monkey acts.
Nowaday, monkey also dun like peanuts, they prefer cash ew nuts. If u give peanuts, you get pigeon
how come singapore telecom and internet providers all like to suck one leh

anyway i think singtel still the best of all bah if you think starhub isnt good...not sure for M1..
tat time i called for my internet thingy and they get the answer v fast... and etc etc
