Agree with you on this.. some totally have no formal education back in China.... now in the service industry selling you things... only know mandarin... nothing else.... and oso mostly from backward counties.... third world habits....-_-"

(if you are a chinese) when your parents or grandparents first came to singapore they were most probably just like the PRCs you now see and claim to dislike and look down on. we are all lucky to be born here.

They no manners, talk loudly in public especially working adults (blue collar workers), students still ok, they know spore culture, they easily blanded into us.

when that time there is no one who formally own singapore island to judge that. and i can assure you that the culture and behaviors of our ancestors defers gretaly from the northeners you see PRCS coming over now. very much greatly. the new PRCs were offsprings of the china after ww2 and after the shed the communist state. do bear in mind that when they come over they know that they are in debt and will do anything (just safe breaking the law since singapore has one inplace) to earn money, pay of their debts and startearning. ad i wrote before although the chinese are getting richer, many are still poor living in areas where even telepohne or internet not accessible. these people no matter how rich china gets in a few more gundreds of years will continue to go overseas to work earn money, and they are not whitecollared. most are low no skilled labor. that's why i say china if contbue to florish willreally be a treat not only to US but other smaller counties as well. they are both rich and poor, and history also shows that they are a group of people who are very greedy. i am just glad singapore made a group of unique chinese when our forefathers first landed here. but after china's change and moore newer chinese came over to work there seems to be ca change. the faces of our chinese looks like a photocopy of those norrther chinese. just glad i will most live a few tens of years. i don;t want to live and see how screwed up the people's going to be. -
