Is your home zombie-safe?

(zombies are real, ppl who don't believe, don't continue reading....)
I read in alot of zombie-survival guides that "taking over a mall" is top priority. I was like, where got so many malls for you to take over?
Probably, I'll stock up food at home. Since most of us live in high-rise flats, home would be the best defence, especially if you're staying in corner units where you only need to lock the main door.
What I worry for other people is that, I've been seeing new condos and landed properties whereby 90% of its walls are GLASS for chic design sake!!! ok, if the condo is 2nd storey and above, still alright... but for landed properties which 90% wall are glass, zombies will attack your home senseless.
What's in the minds of designers? Walls of glass may look nice but it is not safe and private. Even burglars can break the glass to enter your premise easily.

Frankly your claims of reading a lot of zombie-survival guide is very questionable. Because all creditable guides - advice you to avoid the mall instead, esp in Singapore. Because shopping is the top hobby of singaporean - that where most zombie will be heading and also other people. If the zombies done kill you there, other people will be fighting over food and resources will.
Find some more remote spot will be a lot safer.
High-rise flat ? is actually a dead trap - one way in and one way out. You lock the front gate. In some assumption - the zombie is strong, and with huge number pushing - I don't think your gate will hold more then 3 days. Even if the gate hold, your food and water will not hold.
It would be better hold up in private houses, out in the forrest. -

Staying at home, especially in a HDB estate is not an option. I've seen zombies plough through wooden doors like they were made of paper. Landed property depends on whether you have tall walls or not.
You'd need solid bolted steel doors. Forget those metal grills on the HDB door frames too. They can be pulled off.
The nearest army base or camp should be the safest place to go assuming they are not overrun. They usually have food, water, guns, backup generators and solid walls.
Getting out to sea to an uninfected island would be a good long term plan. As far as I know, zombies don't swim.
On a more serious notes, these zombie flicks have a significant message. The spread of a zombie epidemic is supposed to represent something, about society as a whole. What do you think that is?

How you know if you are the not so suay guy who don't become zombie o.o btw I think if this really happen, I think best is wait till offical instruction or do something like inside l4d but sadly singapore cannot buy wep :(
