Build nuclear reactor is just a matter of when not if.
As one point out, sg is famous of the kiasi mentality, we likely won't build a fission based plant in the near term but long term wise, we would see one after ITER proves successful in producing viable electricity in large scale. We are always the kiasi follower type, someone must take the plunge into sea and not die then we jump in with all our floatation devices, die die cannot die.

Maybe..on an offshore island?
We don't even have sufficient space for people to live in, how are we going to find the space to build nuclear reactors on this island?

In the case of accident in the plant.....malaysia and indonesia will the first one to wack us hard.
