  I dont even think the "girl" will report to the police. Why tell your friend if she wants to? Probably just wants to scare him/stop chatting.

  And even if really report, there is no offense since your friend dont even see her before, cant tell whether girl is minor or not.

  Probably the Judge can reason along the same lines as, not knowing the law does not absolve you from the crime, not knowing her age does not save you from the crime.
