Experience 1 - Eating at food court. Behind my table, someone ate and left, so the plate with bones on the table behind me. 3 china men came and 1 of them took the dirty plate with bones and put on my table, while I was still eating my meal halfway. So rude! That's what I said to them and when I left, I pushed my chair to hit them letting them know someone not happy with their rudeness.
Experience 2 - Watching a performance. A china man walking from my right side wanted to see so I give way so he can see also. He walk directly in front of me, and stopped there, blocking my entire view. Wah lao, I give way and he stand directly in front of me to block me, ungrateful bastard. So I walk to beside him, body check him and bang him to the left, just like in soccer. He looked at me and I looked at him like he's a cockroach coz I really want to beat him up.
Experience 3 - Store entrace is about 1.5 metres wide. I was standing at the extreme left of the entrance looking at their stuff. There is a huge space on my right side of the store entrance. Anyone with a certain level of intelligence know that to get into the store, you can walk through the remaining 1.2 metre of big free space, but nooo, China man has to brush against my back like very squeeze like that to get into the store. Really so rude and so stupid.
I wonder how their family brought up these people, so lack of manners and social grace, it really reflects very badly on their whole family. But to be fair, these are the minority of China men maybe, but I don't see such stupid stuff very often in Singaporean chinese/malay/indians or westeners. I'm really proud of the education Singaporeans have, maybe that's the main difference, but my experience with china men over the last week leaves me feeling some of them are like wild dogs, need to be disciplined or removed from society.
I mean I lived my whole life in singapore and i dun see such stupid stuff happening very much from the singaporean chinese/indians/malay but just 1 week vacation and i see all these nonsense from the china men. btw, i can tell they are china men due to their dialects, i can understand a few languages.
and of coz, their favorite was to shout. never mind if you're beside them, they will shout to their friends/family about 2 metres away. so rude!
these China men from country side
country side too big, so they shout
I give them a wide berth when I'm abroad and speak exclusively in English or the local language, for fear of being mistaken as one of them...
hk n macau... those experiences were encountered at macau... hk not so bad except at the peak tram they push you until no need to walk also will being pushed up the tram (i think they scared there is no more tram coming after this)... they really no manners... super rude...
Wait till you go to China. I got scolded for nothing when I was in China. I wanted to argue with that man but my friend stopped me as I was not local and who knows what would happen. He scolded me because I did not call him 师傅(he was a security guard) when I asked for direction to the toilet in his building. He scolded me for a long time. I told him I was not local and who on earth know that in their country the practice is to call a security guard 师傅. I refused to call just because of a toilet.
I ever asked those China guys why they talked so loudly as if they were scolding or arguing. They told me it is because their space is very big and have to talk loudly so that the other can hear them. They complain that Singaporeans talk too softly.
aiyoh countryside guys, what can you expect form them?
they are expert in farming only![]()
helllloooooo!!!!!
u went to china, of cos lah.
their 地盘 wat.
I think you met their village people though I have to say people from the kampong in SE Asia (Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia, Phillippines etc) are much more civil and well-mannered compared to them -_-"
Even the villagers in India don't behave like them
they always tok damn loud bcos CN too many ppl, too noisy. so they have to tok loud loud so other party can hear
Are these rude men from Northeast China?
I observe that people from that part of China are mostly unruly, nasty, big mouth and bitchy and troublemaking.
In Singapore our ancestors mostly come from the south.
These PRC pigs don't know how to line up wan. I once went for cable car ride in a country that I would not state. There was a very long traffic jam of people. Everybody lined up in civil manner. Except those PRC tourist pigs, who kept on cutting line like nobody biz.

true true, similar observations... but they are on the extreme end of the scale, they can really rub their body against yours to get in first, as if there is only 1 cable car in the whole world and if they miss, no more cable cars left...
we are bored of stories abt rude PRCs...
tell us stories about polite PRCs if any...

What happened to u was probably a norm in their local culture. Good that u travelled and experienced it.
