Me: (Ok wtf) 好的。(And I went in)
No prizes for guessing which country. Wah now come back for holiday, really feel that this place is getting more and more foreign.

The dominant language used in this country is wrong. It is the legacy of british colonialism and the dominance of the baba elite.

Recently there is a youtube video of a british woman using alot of vulgarities in a subway train.
Her point is about the number of foreign immigrants in Britain.
One of her sentences that I remember vividly, " None of you belongs to Britain. Britain is fuck all."
I think Singapore is very close to reaching that stage. And it's very depressing.
Singapore is about to FUCK ALL.
Towards the ending, there is a English lady asking her to STFU because there are kids in the train. And of coz there are also those immigrant that ask her to STFU.
But deep down in my heart, even though there were kids around, I understand why she said that. I can feel and relate to her anger.

For me, I consider the dominant language used in this country to be incorrect. It should be either malay or mandarin or both.

language is very important. either one understands a common langauge can communicate and undertsand what the otehr party ones. i am glad here in singapore most sgreans englisch are better. like that can undertsand what the other tokin about. seriously don't know what shit this tokin about

Don't be surprised.
Many Singaporean and Malaysian Indians now can be heard speaking Chinese dialects such as Hokkien, Teochew, and Cantonese.
Today I heard one again speaking Hokkien when buying food.
It is the Singaporean Chinese who have to catch up much more. Even Pasar Malay also cannot speak. Even other group's Chinese dialects also cannot speak. Even ownself Chinese dialect also cannot speak.
