What to wear in Poly????

Went to temasek poly open house today and had a cultural shock. Maybe cuz i wear school uniform too long le then no fashion sense but anyways, got any ideas on what to wear to school ? And how often to change the ''sets'' of clothing we usually wear, or juz mix and match?

Depend on what school you're in.
Nowadays, Business school requires full formal business dress code for lesson and presentation.
Engineering school requires fully covered school and long pants/jeans. For presentations, full formal.

Polo T + Jeans + shoes.... Can never go wrong one....

if u are from design, it's ok to pair a yellow NUM singlet with purple skinny jeans, and grey hair
other another day, u can done a comme des garcons piece
and pink hairif u are from other facs, just wear tees and jeans.
sandals, flip flops acceptable. -

Not an engineering student from TP, an engineering student from SP though.
girls? - tank tops/shirts.. denim shorts, jeans - flops (if no lab) or covered shoes (if got lab) that's what the engineering school girls wear

Normally i wear the following combination
Old tee-shirt + bermuda + many exciting colour $18 "Sports shoe" with long socks, you can never go wrong with this, see many people like that wear. With my experience girls will tend to be attracted to this, i believe they find it attractive.
Hair must use gel comb neat neat, side or center parting up to you, lecturer see already one look know u study type, will give higher GP marks, and have better impression.
As for girls, they also wear teeshirt and jeans, normally i see their teeshirt is those

From what i see orientation programs the girls usually wear very short shorts or skirts. It is meant to attract young innocent boys to them, you should try wearing like that, and most importantly a comfortable footwear, as you may do alot of walking around the school.

This should be ok already.
The dress code in poly is very casual and relaxed. As long as you are comfortable with your attire..
For me, jeans, sneakers and just a t shirt - sometimes a hoody/jacket

Boring games.. like name games, etc to get to know your classmates
Not the kinds you heard about in Uni. I may be wrong though
Ps, be prepared for the culture shock in engineering school where there maybe only a handful of girls/ only you are a girl in your class

it's pretty unfortunate even if your sec friends are in TP, or heck even the same faculty, you seldom get to meet them or sometimes even see them - i know of friends who are in the same faculty as me, but i have never ever seen them while walking around campus.
So the people you normally associate with are your 1) class mates - love them or hate them they are there, 2) cca mates 3) lecturers 4) parents

Ok la in conclusion, just wear a nice shirt that will show other girls that your figure is nicer than them, short shorts or skirt if you have nice legs, again to show other girls you are better. Have water games maybe wear slippers? Or bring extra footwear
I am not sure of the games they play in TP, but orientation games are always those few team building games, maybe memorise each other's name, guy touch girl, girl touch guy, build some things tgt, group competition things...etc
Please attend the orientation no matter how much u dun feel like it. It really makes a difference when working together in your group works next time. It's good to know whose character you are more ok with
