  Gonna get a keyboard and mouse tonight to complete the alienware to desktop transition. Tonight's menu: Double boiled lobster in mellow broth. Steamed garlic bamboo clams Drunken prawns Hot plate deer meat Can't think of anything else.

  Talking about mouse, my friend has finally returned my Razor imperator and my ironclad mousepad after I left it in her house...

   

  But now, my keyboard seems faulty... Shld I hoot the blackwidow or shld I wait...?

  This is my new laptop, asus k43s. The only thing I wished is for the click button on the mousepad to be softer, not such a loud click.

  

  I would have got the alienware m14x if the hinge wasn't made the same way as the m11x.

  I dunno whether to get a gaming keyboard and mouse, because honestly, the alienware has been retired to desktop duty.

  Well, I'm okay in carrying a laptop ard, but the alienware lappy are way too heavy for me...

  gaming keyboard? depends... I still function well with cheapo mechanical keyboards and gel-base keyboard... Though my bad habit of typing means I tend to get my fingernails stuck inbetween mechanical keyboards keys (mainly W and S) -____-

  But generally, typing or pressing with the mechanical keyboard does give a better feel...

  I swear man...  too many self-interested people involved.

  Imagine you have a demographic split into 3 territories. Now there is a new Invesment Port nearing completion. Thats where all the Halal Hub is, Korea and Taiwan investments also will come in from there.

  Now, imagine this. Instead of carving out a new territory, some propose to stretch thier territory to cover that area. I propose new infrastructures, more manpower, pretty much creating a new territory. So we have 4 territories. But no.. Territory 1 and Territorry 3 both wants a piece of that pie.I know it will run up at least 20Mil to set up, but what is 20Mil (min) when u get to have 1% of the billions when the Port is in full swing?

  Not to mention they want to move Territory 2(me)'s manpower and dilute them into 1 and 3. In my POV, it seriously undermines Territory 2's system of check n balances that have been in place and running extremely well since 2005. We are the least costly territory with the least number of accidents and we are raking in as much as them.

  So now they propose to restructure the entire logistics and area management up.The end result is, they get the logging, they get the quarry, they get the port. And I get a bigger area, but extending into more rugged terrain, a failing plantation, 150km more to cover, less manpower. WTF ? Seriously.. I think they are squeezing us out.

  Not to mention general election here coming up. Damn corporation backed YB's.I hope they at least consider some of my proposals if not all.

  Bigger picture... long term pls.

  Anyways... sorry...just ranting. I was imagining going postal with a shotgun. But saner mind prevailed. lol

  I know it looks like that, but its what's inside that counts. I got a 2gb ati radeon card, i7-2670qm quad core 2.2, and 8 gb ram. That's higher spec than the default m14x build, at half the price, minus that ah beng lighting.

  Your specs are more powerful than my supposedly gaming desktop... -_-" . I still running on Core 2 Duo 2.4. And 4 gig 1 x 1 x  1 x1 ram....

  What no lighting ? No Blue or Red lights ?! gaming would be more aweosme with some of those lights. LOL
