this is how you communicate with them
See, even the Hong Kongers don't like them.
hong kong is under PRC. Anyway, currently the rich people in Hong Kong don't speak cantonese...they speak mandarin. A significant portion of luxury homes in Hong Kong have been taken by mainland chinese, leaving those middle income group in a bad mood. Go to any luxury shop in Hong Kong and notice how the mainland people and the local hong kong people are treated...he who has the gold makes the rules..this is something that most schools didn't teach. It's better to learn this at a young age.
anyway, mainland chinese.... ![]()

Their grievances towards the PRCs is accumulated long before this incident. While in Singapore, we talk about PRC taking jobs, opening massage parlour (some years back) blah blah blah... over in HK, the PRC pregnant women rushed to HK hospitals to give birth to enjoy certain benefits that they don't in the mainland, resulting the hospitals for delivering babies were overcrowded. Their govt only stepped in after the hospital doctors made noise.
After reading some HK news on PRC issues, the situation in Singapore (ie FT, PRC, housing etc issues) is somewhat kinder and more managable and tolerable to a certain extent. At least our PRCs won't think this is their land (except for the family who wanted the Indian to stop cooking curry) and hence, so far... , we don't have PRCs eating on our train. I guess here they don't dare. Or maybe the ones who can afford to come to Sg are the more law-abiding ones.
the hospital doctors didn't make noise...mainland chinese people paid for more the beds..hospitals are businesses. In every business, profits are required. There are still the richer ones who come to Singapore but... ![]()

Our Govt should go attract them, so many of them are top bankers, good cooks, and hard working admin staff
A majority of the Hong Kong people hold China passports..they are considered part of PRC. ![]()
Can't the PRC just ask??!
They are from villages. They do not know much about city life. Yes, they are ignorant. But that does not make them a lesser human being.

Translation: PRC mothers caused overcrowding in hospitals (labour wards) and the Doctors say "STOP".
mainland got no hospital?
They buying all the milk powder from HK (usually in cartons!), everyone can understand cuz poisonous milk powder was being produced in their own land. But why take over the limited hospital beds? mainland hospital beds are also poisonous?

sensitive or not it still must be discussed, otherwise people will be ignorant and fall for rumours or false information.
Maybe after more discussion and debate it will be less sensitive.

Our govt did. Before 1997, before HK returned to China, Singapore govt handed PR status to HK ppl like free hot cakes. Also, tried the same thing with the Taiwanese.
These ppl 'come, see, go' back to old country or go to western country after getting their PR insurance.
