High IQ=Low EQ?

is IQ related to EQ? I know of someone who is smarter than average people..but he is insensitive to the feelings&emotions of those around him. hiswords can be hurtful, sacarstic..I wonder how he can ignore our facial expressions that say so much about how we feel abt his actions...

yeah...but I feel that EQ shld be = IQ for someone to be responsible for his actions. Someone can be incredibly smart..but he can use his abilities to harm the society due to his low EQ

What if i know how i should react in certain situation, but choose to react in an inappropriate manner, does that makes me a person with high or low EQ?

people with low IQ needs to rely on EQ. those with higher IQ need not rely on EQ.
those with low IQ, reliying on EQ, still think their EQ very gut. But to those with higher EQ and / or IQ, is really a pain in the ass

for a while i thought u were angel7030. -
Not really. just that people are imperfect so they are good at one thing, they will likely to suck at the other. High IQ can have high EQ but chance of that are much less than High IQ with low EQ.
