  very much doubt so...since the ferry is only an hour, max. too short a journey to mount a flight. there's always the helicopter...if you're willing to pay

  Just now I was in Joo Chiat, this Mercedes C(rap)-class pulled over behind me and honked a couple of times. I looked behind my shoulder and there was this fair-skinned, bespectacled organism of about 50 years of age gesturing for me to go over. Before I had time to react, I don't know what my friend was thinking but she actually turned to face the car directly and went "EH??!" (the kind of eh you make when you realize it's someone familiar).

  But I do not know who the MF was. He probably thought I was one of those streetwalkers, as stupid as him, who get into cheap cars driven by ugly strangers. 

  And I don't know whether to feel more insulted for being mistaken or more disgusted at the existence of such er, organisms. 

   

  I think this is all because I have not hit 37k posts yet!
