["Top of The News"] DPM Teo CH's textbook gift to Reuben Wang - may I please have a copy too?
'Top of The News': "Mr Teo gave the teenager a book on economics and autographed it...":
"Mr Teo said he had avoided simply giving students answers as he
wanted them to think deeply about the difficult choices they had to
make." [ST pict news link]
I think that I too should seek a copy of Mr Teo Chee Hean's fantastic economic book so that I too can think deeply about the "difficult choices.. to make" and so that I could refrain from making wrong accusations about Mr Teo "dodging difficult questions" and as consequence, "Mr
Teo said: 'I am glad he has taken the time to reflect, and recognises
that what he said, as well as the way he said it, were wrong,' The
Straits Times reported." [JC student apologises to DPM Teo for blog post]
So will either Mr Teo CH himself, SAJC, Reuben's father, the SAJC
teacher present, SAJC Principal or perhaps Mr Reuben Wang himself kindly
reveal to us the title and particulars of this hallowed economics book-
and perhaps a photo of the book with Mr Teo CH's autograph just to
prove that that indeed was the book so publicly mentioned in the 'Top of The News' of the Straits Times (scam authors selling econs textbooks not invited).
The hallowed autographed economics book that Mr Teo gave to Ruben must
be revealed. Singaporeans must not be deprived this holy grail of PAP
economic policy so as not to irritate PAP Ministers with their petty and
irrelevant queries.
This economics book must also surely be essential reading for next year's Pre-U seminar,. Ruben Wong's blog containing his well written post: 'The Eurozone crisis in 5 minutes' [pict archive]
has been totally shut down in lieu of Ruben is probably spending much
of his time trying to imbibe the theories contained in the Econs Book
that Mr Teo CH so importantly autographed.
So anybody, what are the particulars of this Econs book and how may we find out?

so what is the title of the book?
That's a good way to deflect the questions. ![]()
If you the CEO of a MNC, during AGM shareholders ask you question, you tell them to go read up a book on business strategy. ![]()
I think Rueben's economic concept has lots of flaw. ![]()
alamak. cannot answer his question then give him a book
Shame on u DPM
Mr Peanut and Old man also did the same trick.
The Old Man went further to insult the person who questioned him.
The student was pressurised to apologise for his future.
He was even bullied and labelled by the press.
That is how open the PM promised Singapore to be.
need to declare?

To swear when he doesn’t get the answers? And to top it all, he gets an autographed gift from the DPM- now if this is the way we bring up kids these days – give them gifts for bad behaviour…why be surprised when 76 year old ladies get push down buses?

I agree that kids shouldn't use nasty words at adults, nor push them off a bus. But if I went to a QnA session with Qs, I should be expecting As, not more Qs, or more Qs, asking me to think of more Qs.

If we can raise the questions and provide the answers, why do we need you in the first place ?
That is how I see my role as a responsible tax payer.
I have provided my question and answer.

If he felt that the DPM was not answering th equestion. he could have stood upo and simply said" This is afterall a Question and Answer session Mr DPM Sir, and it will be appreciated if you do give us some answers instead . or else this would simply be a Question and Question Session.
wat wld u do if yr parents cldnt answer yr question?
I think it is fine and dandy when they say we have to come up with the solution.
But the problem here is people give the solution and they will you their reasons why it cannot be done.
So what's the point of asking people for solutions since they are already dead set on their own way of doing things?
No wonder their popularity is going down. ![]()

Its not like he stood up in the hall, and shouted "f**k u sir! I'm gonna push u off a bus!". Instead he expressed his displeasure in his personal blog, which he later went on to remove it, and personally apologise to the DPM.

so like father like son
so please stop asking stupid questions
