10k enough for me to buy a nikon D3s, and nikon 24-70 f/2.8.
but the lens also 10k enuff to buy, i willstill opt for the cheaper 24-120 f/4.
70 reach is just not enough. in dx , its just like 50mm max only. shot one ROM indoors only already know 50mm reach is not enough for closeup shot of coupls hands holding one another during ring exchange across the table already. one assignment, one situation, 55mm reach failed me already.!

younger generations whom parents really educate them well on proper wealth and finance management can usually use the money wisely.

of course if you want to take risk there are lots of people out there who will flock to you when news about you being 10k wealthier and want to invest.
no matter what you invest in there will certianly be higher risk than putting it in the bank. remember, not everyone can win. when they win the wealth they get will be form those who lose. unless you are that god like invester who never lose a single cent before in life, make sure you know what you ae playing with before losing everything.
i suggest keeping them first. when you know what to do with it later in life it will never too late.

and dont list to people who say what the mnoney lkeep alsono use, die can never take away. also people who will taunt you saying you dont know how to use money. not telling ou spending thousands of dollars is not recommended. like what i wrote above, to me if ihave10k to really spare, iwillspnd on camera equipment. these are high end professional gears that make phtoography easier. and no i am not tokin about casual photo shoots. when you take up any paid work you will appreciate the power such cameras can help you in. good or bad differnet level of skills, some basic functions from this cam combination rasies even a noobs ophoto quality - technically.
for others it will be other things, but spending over the limit and in a moment of rashness is not recommended.
those people who say got money spend today dont keep overnite are usually twisted taoism beliefs.

$10000 is a good money to have but really not much. Most likely use it to pay bills or invest it on short term course like learning new language
