The man apparently had to take public transport with his son after his car was sent to the workshop.
The man posted a photo of his son on an MRT train with the caption: 'Daddy, where is your car & who are all these poor people?'
In another facebook post, the man uploaded a photo of his sports car after getting it back and wrote: 'Normal service can resume, once I have washed the stench of public transport off me.'
TRS reader Michael says:
Are people who commute on public transport poor?
One person obviously thinks so. "He posted pictures of his child, while commenting about people being poor.
In a separate post, he commented about the 'stench' of public transport, or is he referring to the people who commute on public transport?"
Should we welcome these Foreigners into our country with open arms?
Meanwhile, Singaporeans are still discriminated by the Singapore government such as NS liabilities and CPF.
Last week, PAP Minister Ng Eng Hen told Singaporeans to treat foreigners the way you want to be treated.
(Ng Eng Hen: Singaporeans better respect foreigners)
What do you think?
Editor's Note: Anton Casey is a Senior Wealth Manager at Crossinvest Asia living in Singapore. TRS has already contacted him on Facebook and we are awaiting for a response from him.
He has posted this in on his Facebook page as well: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JW4-jLop5Ws
SPH initially published the news today (20 Jan) about the posts made by the foreigner but for some reason, they decided to delete it later:
Fortuitously, some netizens managed to screengrab the article from Stomp before it was deleted:

As more and more netizens circulated his Facebook posts, Casey deleted his Facebook account: https://www.facebook.com/anton.casey
So what is the real reason why STOMP chose to take the article off? To please a higher power?

People already lost faith in SPH.
Whenever SPH reports something, I have to google to verify the authencity of the news.
He's British.
So what's the reason he come here to work?
Is it because he gets paid more to work here? Is the $SGD bigger than the sterling pound? Or maybe the standard of living here is lower? Or maybe he see himself going nowhere in his own home country? Or maybe because he married his wife, Ms 2003 Singapore universe.?

If the commuters who take public transport are poor, why is that FT taking MRT when his car is being sent to the workshop. He should take cab instead.
