Hmmm....i have been thinking for a long time.
Actually why you all hate Ho Yeow Sun so much???
Also, for all christians out there, what you all think of City harvest's teachings?
How bout the free thinkers and non-christians.?You all hate Ho Yeow Sun also.?
I dunno for real if she's using all this publicity she gets to turn the lost to Christ...but...hmm..

I feel that whatever she does is her private business, but when it's in show bizz, private business becomes public and for all to see. In my opinion, she is breaking boundaries. She might be a pastor doesn't mean that she cannot do other things in Show Biz because she has the ability (yes, some may think otherwise, but she is not your average shower room crooner).
Whether she is doing anything to advance the kingdom of God is not something for us to judge, but base on most people's response, it has been negative. However as I said earlier, she is breaking the mold and she is showing the freedom that her beliefs could bring to people and the arts.
There are many artiste in the world (as in international artiste) who are Christians who are doing such things too. She is probably the first from Singapore. Oh, Lawrance Kong may be the other who
1) went out of the ministry and into show biz. For whatever reasons, good or bad, we can't judge, coz we can't play God.
2) There are also other's who left show biz to be in full-time Christian work.
3) Yet there are those who still remained in the industry with renewed zeal, meaning and passion for what they do. Most notably rock musician Neal Morse of Spock Beard fame. He has recorded a Christian album called "Testimony" for a secular label.
As for CHC, I dun know anything bout that church except the interior looks like Hills Christian Centre in Sydney (read "Hillsongs"). I've seen picts of the interior but have not attended their services. -
She cant act, her singing is so-so.

I wouldn't call it a rule but a guideline. It's always better to find a spouse who have the same spiritual beliefs so that they will "move" in the same direction. In context of the bible verse where this concept is taken from, it was warning the believes not to mingle with people who do not follow God and thus causing the believer to stumble.
So it's a choice that every believer have to make. There will come a time when God matters most and then the issue of God will either make or break the relationship. Some people call it a rule so as to prevent such painful situations. I see it as a Choice. If you make the choices, there may be consequences, that's all. -
Hate is a baggage. Life's too short to be pissed off all the time.

Can't stand her. I disagree totally with the way she's trying to "spread Christianity".
But can't be bothered with her. Parka's right. Life's too short to let ourselves be bothered with such.. things. Ignore her and we'll live life happily
