I think if they so want to win the Election,
PAp should just redraw the boundary that Potong Pasir and Hougang don't exist.
Which makes me wonder, how come they so free (as in unrestricted) to redraw boundaries? shouldn't it be done by Independant body (like the closely linked Elections Department, haha)
I seriously wonder how LHL feels now, it's a real wake up call slap in the face for him.
When the Son can become PM simple not because he earned it, we are not that stupid that the father is the "cause" of what's happening now. -

I would love to write a thesis on the behaviors of people and the relations of the individual to the society, and politics for that matter, but I doubt I will do so at this moment. Human behaviors are predictable, just like how insurance calculate the risk factors and make money off those risks. If they werenÂ’t predictable, insurance companies wouldnÂ’t make a business out of it. On the other hand, society is much harder to manage for the calculations, because there were too many truths hidden. If we cannot access the truths, then how are we able to make a clear judgment on certain things?
I feel a knife stabbing through me every time the election comes as I watch the election results. I donÂ’t watch TV, I donÂ’t watch all the things going on during the campaign, but I do watch the results. It is saddening whenever I see the tyrants winning the slots and it just bring me memories of Hitler, a tyrant that is capable of winning peopleÂ’s hearts, but a tyrant nonetheless. Fear, rewards, hidden truths, aahhhÂ… The catalyst of tinkering with the commoners mind. I just hope the newer generation in the future will be wiser. If they can see beyond the mask, I would be so grateful.
The reason why I am writing about such things is because itÂ’s affecting my friends and family. I can relate to them because I was once poor, and I know how it feels like to be poor, it doesnÂ’t feel good. I feel really sad, sometimes like crying whenever my friends have problems and that I am unable to help. I know I canÂ’t help everyone, but there were people sitting up there drinking cocktails and eating abalones that could do something, but alas they have more important things to do, the abalones have to be cleared. The society could have been better. Health problems were ruining my friends financially. Common sense tells me to help them, which I do, but how long could I keep dishing out the dough like that? My money is limited, one personÂ’s effort is limited, we could do with better policies, and that is the link of a relation of individuals to the society. Self centered people who claim to do the best for the society isnÂ’t doing their job. So that is my rant for today. I just need to get it off my chest. -
