Penal code 377A is an unfair law because when 2 persons doing the same thing privately, for gays, it is an offence but for oppositive sex, it is ok.
People against the repeal of 377A becase of their religional belief so they used whatevere reasons to justify it, that is understanable because they can't go against their religional teaching, however,is this group of people a majority or is more powerful, I don't know because nobody carried out a national poll.
I don't like the gay life style and I don't think gay want to influence the straight. Anyway, most men like me like to see the pretty girls , that can not be changed till the day we are laid inside the coffin. But if gay want to have some fun among themself PRIVATELY, then leave them alone. It won't hurt anybody ...

And it is not only religious people who are against it. Many older folks find it hard to accept also, and they are not really religious people. -

Here we are talking about law. The law must be be seen to be fair. I am a layman, any wise man here can tell me is there a law in today world which criminalise an act done in private and do not hurt anyone. I thought that only existed in ancient China.
