if they were averagely smart do u think they would be dumb enough to let someone take control of their lifestyle until got not much money even to retire or struggle daily?
honest and smart people can see theres no hope in lionasis island theory.
hardworking and smart people think that lionasis must be insane and would immigrate instantly.
good people would probably start to organise a civil war against lionasis and imprison him and his entire family for a generation....
only left in lionasis island would be houseflies and boliao people.and no one would buy island even if u added in hotels and shopping centres.

those left in the lionasis island:

ok...now goto any police station and tell them about your plans......tell me what the policeman there face look like after that?
ok...now go to woodbridge hospital and tell them your plans....i bet thats the only place that agree to your plans and would give u life membership...but must pay for membership b4 u enter or else they chase u out.

thats odd!!!how come i dont get anyone here telling the best place except deserts???please dont talk bout migrating into someones tummy!!
im rather surprised here...i get dubai...which is hot n very expensive but with no distribution line fer raw materials needed fer any industry!
i know a few places besides the noth or south pole..............im keeping the other lesser known countries which is cool and resource rich with industrial infrastructure nearby to myself.
so many thousands and yet not a single answer??

Well, when I first started this thread, I had a hunch this would be the case. So - SINGAPORE - is still a more viable choice, like it or not. 2-3k views ago, I already commented on the same observation. So there are places that are clear run away winners, let it be known.
Singapore will have problems, let's have no illusions about this, but if one looks for a PERFECT place to live and grow old in, that day may not come at all. Best, make good use of where you are now...unless it is really that bad.
I would like to thank all viewers and forumers, wow, did not expect to see this thread run for so long. Your participations are very much appreciated.

A survey reveals a shocking result in the top 3 countries for expats and S'pore isn't one of them.
CANBERRA - Looking to work overseas? Head to Canada, Australia or Thailand, according to an annual global survey which found recession-hit Britain was one of the worst locations to live for expatriates.
The second annual Expat Experience survey, commissioned by HSBC Bank International, revealed that expats in Canada have the best quality of life and found it among the easiest places in the world to integrate with the local population.
Australia and Thailand also came in the top three in the survey of 3,146 people working in 30 different industries and 50 countries, even though Thailand was one of the countries worst-hit by the recession for expats.
"We have seen that there is a distinct trade-off between income and overall quality of life, as many of the top performers ... scored toward the bottom of this report's league table ," said Betony Taylor, spokeswoman for HSBC Bank International.
"What is clear is that the locations where salaries may not be as high, such as Canada and Australia, are where expats are really enjoying not only an increased quality of life but are also finding it easy to fit in to their new communities."
Last year Germany, Canada and Spain were the top three countries deemed to have the best lifestyle for expats.
This year Britain was one of the lowest ranked locations when it came to lifestyle after being named as one of the most expensive places for expats with the recession taking its toll.
About 44 percent of expats in Britain are considering returning home, compared with only 15 percent of expats overall.
About 41 percent of expats in Britain find it difficult to find somewhere to live, most find the quality of their accommodation drops after moving to Britain, and a third claim their health has deteriorated since moving there.
"Despite this, the UK does hold the crown for being expat entertainment capital of the world, with over half of expats in the UK saying that the quality of entertainment had increased," said Taylor.
She added that 62 percent of expats also said that employment prospects were the main reason keeping them in the region.
Results from a different section of the survey, which was conducted by research company FreshMinds, released earlier found Russia was home to the highest proportion of expats earning more than $250,000 with 30 percent of international workers there banking that amount, followed by Hong Kong and Japan.
The lowest-paid expats live in Australia and Belgium with the majority -- 63 percent and 61 percent respectively -- earning less than $100,000.

And what is said about other countries being better - well, inconclusive to say the least.Fellow Singaporeans, dun look elsewhere for a better living, Singapore is one of the best places on earth for you, native who are born and raised here.
