I juz came home not long ago..
went to watch Phantom of the Opera..
It was EXCELLENT!
The audience applauded non-stop after the show ended.. that the cast had to come out and bow 3 times and finally stopped when the curtain stood still.
I duno is it juz me or wat... i find The Phantom very pitiful leh.. i was so touched that my eyes were wet..
I really enjoyed this musical.. it was not that scary like what I thought.. many surprises.. can't remember how many times my body jerked out of shock. And I believe those sitting at the first few rows were in cold sweat lor. hahaha.. cannot say too much, if not, those haven watch de will beat me.
I really like the songs.. after it ended, me and sis went to a shop at Esplanade that is selling Phantom of the Opera t-shirts, cds, chain etc.. almost wanted to buy the cd.. wanted to buy postcard or magnet etc but couldn't find..
I find myself so in love with The Phantom.. althoug Raoul is younger and more good looking.. and I still prefer Phantom's voice leh.. Christine's voice is indeed like angel's..

I like phantom's voice and Raoul's as well, though Phantom has a more expressive and powerful voice that is suited for the role... think he sings even better than Michael Crawford (with all due respect to Michael cos he is also a great singer.)

Another good song from him: "Bu Ru Bu Jian" in cantonese. Not sure if there is a chinese version though...

I went to Ai Qing Hai, hear Lilian sing.. actually was hoping to see Shao Xuan also, coz he was scheduled to sing also... but din see him.. anyway, nvm.. that Wei Quan is so cute also..
Oh well, I'm so happy.. I have seen Lilian in person so many times, and few times I brought her album along, hoping to get her autograph, but always din have the courage to do so. But juz now, I DID IT!!! She was so surprised and delighted when she saw her album in my hands. Then she asked for my name, and wrote "Dear xx, Enjoy the music, Enjoy life!" and she signed off.
I even told her, I made a song request - but she din sing. Anyway her voice was a bit hoarse.. and I told her Jieqi got play this song leh.. and at times he will be reminded of Lilian.. She asked me 'Jieqi got play this song?" I said ya.. but i think she dun listen to 933 la.. coz she's from LOVE 972.. haha.. juz now Wei Jian played the 933 version of 'happy birthday' already kena scold by her.. hahaha..
Oh ya, advise Jieqi not to mention 'sgforums' on air tonight.. recently many things happened, maybe u read in papers also.. got chance then fill u in.
i better go take a shower now, be right back~! -

tonight so special somemore.. got one mummy bday, her children dedicated a song for her, and lilian changed the lyrics a little.. so heart-warming.
also got one guy made a song dedication to his gf ba.. saying he's not the best blah blah.. then dedicated the song , sang two times tonight.
i dedicated 'liang ke xin si hang lei'.. Tang Yu Xuan and wei quan sang it.. they were asking did i really dedicate that song? It's such an old song. I was so shy i din respond to them lor.. then at Lilian's session then i realize they got a table chart... so they knew it was me, but I din want to entertain them lor.. Oops!!! -

It's funny, we spend so much money trying to keep oversea singaporeans in touch, what with Singapore Day in New York and some special unit to look into this... but something as simple (and relatively cheap) as Internet streaming of our favourite stations cannot be resolved.
I hope the one above doesn't sound too anti-government... the fact is, 933 was the only, albeit tenous and unstable, direct link I had with Singapore on a daily basis. I find myself very touched by the "Majulah Singapura" I hear every evening. I remember looking forward to every Saturday morning to listen in to Jieiqi... or listening to Mary's voice and her infectious chuckle on Morning Fanatics during dinner time. I'd smile when I hear there is a jam along Adam Road, which reminds me of my secondary school days. Now, I can only imagine how the Moonlight Lady is doing during the night time belt and feel rueful about the Jieqish-songs I missed.
Scary... it's been months since I last heard Jieqi and Mary... not forgetting BBB and other forumers who managed to call through.

Recently very into watching the "One Million Star" (chao1 ji2 xin1 guang1 da4 dao4) online. It's a Taiwanese version of the American Idol, similar to our Superstar but IMO far better This contest is not broadcasted on local TV, so have to go online to search for it.
If you all have time, do go and take a look at the clips of some of the contestants. My favourite is a guy called Yang2 Zong1 Wei3, who is nicknamed "caveman" (LOL) and zhou1 kou3 dian4 ren2 (ancient man) by most people including his fans LoL. But his voice is really good, so don't judge him by his looks lah!
