Anyway caught most part of JieQi's program from around 5pm onwards, was doing mundane grocery shopping before that
But heard Zheng Zhan Lun's song so quickly went home 
This weekend was like a trip down the memory lane, all the songs which I thought I would not hear on 933 again. I agree Pan Yue Yun's <> was not bad, but I always prefer Yin Zheng Yang's version. But maybe listeners won't really appreciate his style of singing ba? I think Huang Yao Ming's <> was a cover of some very old song, right???
Chen Shu Hua's <> doesn't feel like it's already more than a decade old! Ronald Cheng sang it before but somehow I found it a amusing cover I notice DJs nowadays seldom play Ronald Cheng's songs (his duet with Anson Hu doesn't quite count) IMO he was one of the best HK singers ever (before that was Jacky, after that Eason) but his scandals really spoilt everything. People esp celebrities like him should jie sheng zi ai more...
Hope to hear more of the 80s/early 90s songs...esp now that the retro wind is becoming stronger with Feng Fei Fei's the latest star to return. My idol Liu Wen Zheng is having such a good time outside the circle, he will never come back le Well, maybe it's good too, because he left what's his best - image and songs wise - in the memories of us fans. btw, I was very very happy when I heard Joi Chua's <>! I knew JieQi purposely played it right after <> He agreed with us too that this song was so appropriate for the movie, but again, it's only our yi xiang qing yuan...
What can I say, SunYanZi is definitely be a bigger selling point than Joi Chua...reality bites... Just feeling sad that such an appropriate and good song gets neglected like that... -

For jazz fans:
just caught Michael Buble in Concert. He has a very good voice, as shown when he sang the last song "My Funny Valentine" solo without instrumental accompanion and mike slight away... his voice really sang out... Suntec sound system really bad... kinda spoils the concert... maybe due to low ceiling too. The concert was too short, just slightly over an hour, and Buble sang songs mainly from his album. Way to go... -

I actually started one for Bukoh Mary but somehow it got lost somewhere. Perhaps it is time to revive it?
Right now, things are on the upward spiral so it's quite easy to maintain the thread. It is when the chips are down and when no one drops by that the real challenge lies.
It's the same with life don't you think so? It's easy to sail through when things are going your way. It's when your chips are down that your real friends show up, your strength in character manifest itself, your true worth as a person gets validated. Like they say, man's darkest hours are often his finest moments.
So... those of us who are down and almost out, this could very well be your finest moments. Savour every moment of it 'cos you will one day look back and appreciate it.

Talking about Shervon, I still 'owe' her a sunset outing in NUS. What the heck? Maybe the building has been demolished! Or perhaps they locked the entrance to that special spot. Anyway, the skies will be cloudy or overcast from now till say January? No point going for a sunset outing.
Gee... how many sunsets are we going to miss before I finally show Shervon the best sunset spot (IMHO) in NUS?

Wonder how many people read this book, by Adam Khoo..He is a very fantastic speaker! Very impressed..Many people asked to have his autograph and also to have pictures taken with him..including me and my frens..hehehe..A young and very sucessful entrepreneur indeed! Can't wait to read his book.

Greetings to everybody! I juz reached home..met my buddy for lunch..Dunno what's wrong with me these few days..I intended to take bus 33 from my home to Bugis..then dunno why..I found myself in Dover Drive. Really retarded leh..Realized that I was travelling in my secondary school's direction..I immediately alighted from the bus and took the bus from the opposite direction..ended up late for 50 mins. This is the first time I'm so late for an appointment.. me so nervous..really blur..
I din miss any part of JieQi's prog..was shopping at Bugis with my buddy and went to Kinokuniya..20% storewide, tmr last day ar..those who of you who want to buy books, better act fast!
Think JieQi is in high spirits today..was shocked when I heard him laughing over the Li Zhi Hua..haha....
Very bad luck recently..broke my nail last night when I lost grip of my refrigerator's handle..deep into the flesh..couldnt stop the bleeding even when I dipped my finger into icewater..still painful now..
Thanks Flyaway for telling me about the Budak Pantai's performance tmr night..I think I will go..provided that I know how to..How many of you are going?? -

Well, JieQi used to play that song at night..Hopefully I will get to hear it next Sat night.. I'm already planning to go catch a movie next Sat afternoon..^^ Andy Lau's movie..! In cinemas on 27 September as per website. It so happens that 27 Sept is his birthday! I'm also looking forward to his two other movies..one of them is ..the other one which I'm not sure of the title, is the one which includes Jerry of F4. Of course I'm not F4 craze lah! But I'm Andy Lau craze..
