just to relate an incident, I was driving some new friends home the other day and we were listening to 933. Someone commented that they dun like this particular DJ and we all started discussing who our favourite was. Guess what? Everybody's favourite is JQ! One of my friend said he has a very nice voice, just enuf of Ci and Xiong in it. Another said although she liked his voice, she finds his choice of songs very sappy.
well..... nevertheless, i was listening in today again.

anyway, was in a CD shop and I heard this Okinawan tune with Liang Jingru singing to it. The song is ²»�ë˯ with the original Japanese title as µºßÂ. It's a very nice tune and when you listen to it performed on the Okinawan instruments with a group of Okinawans singing to it, it's kinda majestic and you know that the song is about waves and ocean. (Maybe Hajime can give us more details on this song.) As for Liang Jingru's version, it is very refreshing. Take note of the chorus... the part where she sings "bu4 xiang3 shui4...", it sounds pretty powerful too.
Go listen to it if you can... -

David tao's gig was a fantastic show put up by his band and himself. i simply luv the female violinist!! wah liew, she really damn stylo and good!!! Ric of Dreamz FM was actually one of the he yin, quite surprised to see him, but happie to see him still involved in the music scene...

Harlow people!! Last night's concert was great!! Harlem made the first appearance and the first song was....did I get the title right?? He said he was a bit unprepared when he was singing and fireworks appeared. Then he sang a few others songs like , , , , , etc.
Followed by Tay Ping Hui, he impressed the audience by playing the harmonica..and sang 4 songs..1 is a new song he wrote and will be a song for a new show, then the other one is (song in ) and other two songs..
Wu bai's appearance had the most applause..can hear people stamping on their feet, shaking the railing...it makes me feel that most people are there to watch Wu bai + china blue (me too..hehe).
He was really great, really created the atmosphere..starting with first song and fireworks...I was singing along as he sang ya..haha..He sang a few song which i dunno the title, but most of the songs are , , , , (new song) and a song which sings something like this "zhe bei zi wo meng hui xiang ai, ken ding shi shang bei zi ceng jing shen ai guo..jin shi cong xiang feng.." I like this song..like the lyrics..wonder if anyone knows this song? Is it in new album?? Very nice leh!! Then he sang and...arrghhhh can't remember which song he ang..overall, it was very shiok! Hahaha..only at his performace, I see people standing up and shaking...I was one of them ya..hahaha...Wu bai's concert supposed to be like that mah!!
Know who I saw? Danny Yeo and frens (maybe Djs of UFM) and Yang Yi Long and a group of friends..haha..They were occupying those allocated VIP seats..by the side ya..I was seating in the centre area..facing the stage..Feng Hui Shi was the MC of the night..After the concert, my fren and I tried to hail a taxi..and saw many people gathering at a corner..waiting for Wu Bai to appear..haha..Of course he appeared lah..and the people left quickly after Wu Bai's van left..
A very nice concert...though waited long for it to start.. -

hai... din know that the ric was the one from Dreamz FM... cos we were a bit far... and i was asking my fren... who i guess dun even know who's in dreamz FM....
Anyway, we saw lilian outside the stadium and she was waiting for someone.. we were speculating that she's waiting for her hubby... but dun think so liao ba... he shld be inside, preparing for the concert at that time....
and, and, hong shao xuan was sitting behind us during the concert... but he's so quiet... think he only stood once... the very first time when david tao asked everyone to stand... after that, he just sat and enjoy the music... think he must be pretty disturbed by the mad ger jumping and screaming in front of him... haha... but din bother much... since no one will know me anyway. -

David was great that night, a full-house for a concert really made a difference in the atmosphere. The only other times I felt such good concert atmospheres were all English ones, though I believe Wu Bai will be fab as well. He is actually a very cool joker...buay tahan

yah... i agree with attitude that hong shao xuan's very si wen lor... that time saw him on mrt on my way home... he's one os those very refined gentleman... but guess his fren really enjoyed the concert thou... he was standing up with us...
totally enjoyed the show... thou ended up getting sick... always get sick a few days after my concert... haha

only started falling for them after watching hai kuo tian kong concert version mtv... saw ka keung crying, and remembered that song from long long time ago, the malaysia's peter stuyvesent (dunno how to spell) advert... had liked that song then, and still like it now.
this year's their 20th anniversary and is also the 10th year ka kui left... so they had that special screen whereby they play together with ka kui... hai... was so touched...
had wanted to go to energy's concert too.. but no kaki... they are really energetic kids... haha... love their dancing.... but at least u saw toro alone during shin's concert.... but i seriously dun like that idea of shin's guest being toro, tony sun and cyndi wang... not very suitable... think shino will make a better guest....
i think for padang one still got cyndi wang, landy wen lan if i'm not wrong... dunno who else liao... -
